Address

To ensure that you are buying the right property.

Ownership

To ensure you are paying for the right person.

Encumbrance

It can affect the transaction and transferability of the property, as it is a legal claim against the property by a third party. The free use of it will be restricted until the encumbrance (e.g. a building order) is settled.

How to do land search in 10 steps?

 
  1. Choose either English and Chinese version according to your preference.

2. Choose “Search Land Register”.

3. Fill in the characters shown in the image and press continue.

4. If you are searching by the property information, fill in the detail of the building and press continue.

5. Check the address shown and choose “Add and Go To Order List”.

6. Select the “Delivery Method” preferred and press continue.

7. Fill in the “Mandatory Fields” below and press continue.

8. Double check the information and press confirm.

9. Choose your payment method.

10. You can then download the document once the payment is settled.
